Inspired by the scent of herbs, the warmth of her grandmother’s kitchen, and the creativity sparked in those simple moments, Verdaura transforms these cherished memories into tangible experiences. Each candle is more than a fragrance; it’s a tale waiting to unfold - an ode to the harmony of nature, heritage, and artistry.
At the heart of Verdaura is Victoria, a Bulgarian-born, London-based Interior Designer with an unending drive for creativity and growth. Immersed in the ever-evolving, fast-paced design industry, she found solace in personal projects and home rituals. These moments became her sanctuary - a way to recharge and find balance amidst the chaos.
When the world slowed down in 2020, Victoria embraced the unexpected pause as an opportunity to reflect on what truly mattered: rest, renewal, and mindful living. This period of stillness reconnected her with her grandparents’ traditions, leading her to rediscover the art of herbal mixes, essential oils, and baking.
"We are often encouraged to temporarily heal ourselves just to carry on as normal. Career and societal pressures have shown so many of us the importance of slowing down. As an interior designer, I’ve always believed in the power of thoughtfully designed spaces to support mental and physical health. My career highlighted how colour, scent, and light can profoundly impact well-being at a neurological level," Victoria shares.
From this deeply personal journey - and four years of meticulous testing - Verdaura was born. Rooted in the belief that scent has the power to evoke memories and transform spaces, Verdaura celebrates the connection between nature, storytelling, and self-care.
As an artist, Victoria infuses her creativity into every element of the brand. From crafting unique fragrance compositions to designing limited-edition packaging adorned with custom illustrations, Verdaura is a seamless blend of artistry and meaning. Each design captures timeless stories, ensuring that every creation reflects the brand's core values.
